Camille is the puppy that Deb and I kept from Chandler’s second litter of all girls. She is as cute as a button, and entertains us by doing “yahoos” by jumping up in the air on all fours.

Camille has bounced between Deb and Mindy, and is currently living with Deb in Covington, LA. She was here summer of 2005 for a couple of months, then went back to Deb in August. We were supposed to meet at the Perry, GA shows in early September, when Katrina hit. Deb evacuated with her 9 ECS to a vet friend’s place in Memphis, TN. We made arrangements for me to “stop by” on my “way home” from the Perry shows to pick all but one up and disperse them amongst friends and family on the East Coast.                                                                                  

At that time, Camille came here to stay for awhile. We started going to shows, and she picked up some points. We met Deb at the Jackson, MS shows in December (her first shows since Katrina), and she piloted Camille to her first major! She came back home with me and spent Christmas and the New Year here. We went to American Spaniel Club, where she made the final cut under both judges. She was easy to show, and always got looked at.  Then Camille went to stay with Deb’s sister, Kris, when Skunk had her puppies. Kris prefers life with just one dog, so back she came to me after a month or so.
 We started showing again in the Spring, where she picked up more points, then another major in Jackson, TN. Hmmm, must be something about Jackson…. I’m thinking her first son should probably be named Jackson, and her first daughter Katrina. But I digress. 
We met with Deb in Greenville, SC in July 2006, and Camille headed back to LA needing the dreaded single to finish.
We look forward to breeding her sometime in 2007.
